At Oklahoma Dance Center, we are proud to be a creative home for dancers of all ages, levels, and goals. Whether your child is taking their very first dance class or your teen is preparing for a professional career, our mission is to provide thoughtful, high-quality training in a welcoming and inclusive environment. We believe in nurturing not only strong technique, but also a deep love for the art of dance, self-discipline, confidence, and lifelong friendships.

Our faculty is composed of experienced professionals who bring both artistic excellence and educational expertise into every class. We offer a wide range of styles—ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, acro, and more—structured by level and age to ensure every dancer is appropriately challenged and supported.

We are also home to Oklahoma Youth Ballet (OYB), the pre-professional company and daytime training program serving Edmond and the greater Oklahoma City area. OYB is dedicated to the development of serious dancers who wish to pursue advanced training, professional opportunities, or higher education in the arts. Dancers in the OYB program receive comprehensive instruction in ballet, pointe, contemporary, character, men’s technique, partnering, and conditioning. They also participate in numerous performance and outreach opportunities throughout the year, gaining real-world experience on stage and in the community.

As a youth company, OYB provides dancers with opportunities to rehearse and perform full-length ballets, original contemporary works, and collaborative productions—bridging the gap between student and artist. Through both OKDC and OYB, we emphasize the importance of character, creativity, and commitment, helping dancers grow not just in skill, but in spirit.

We believe dance should be accessible and enriching for every dancer, whether they attend one class a week for joy and movement, or commit to a full-time pre-professional track. At the heart of everything we do is a love for the art form and a desire to support young people as they grow, both in the studio and in life.
